Russia sells 5,130 tns of grain from state fund via NAMEX on Thu

MOSCOW, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- The Russian government sold 5,130 tonnes of grain from the state intervention fund on the National Mercantile Exchange (NAMEX) for 57.2 million rubles on Thursday, as seen by PRIME in the materials of the exchange.

The fund has sold 1.373 million tonnes of grain raising 14.336 billion rubles since October 23, 2018. The next trading session will be held on Thursday.

In October 2018, the government ordered that 1.5 million tonnes from the fund be sold in 2018–2019.
